Organ transplantation represents the most perfect treatment for extreme failure of the organ. However, the issue of transplantation is nowadays not only a medical issue but also a social one. For this reason, it is necessary to create an interdisciplinary approach to organ transplantation.

The aim of the conference is to exchange views and ideas in academic fields and practitioners involved in the transplantation of various disciplines from Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia and Turkey. We hope that the conference will help to inspire scientists and practitioners from various fields to joint research projects and creating social and medical programs. We would like to point out the opportunity for creative research and multi-level consideration of issues related to the broader issue of organ transplantation and organ donation from both international and interdisciplinary perspective.

For participation in the conference we strongly encourage academic environments and practitioners representing all fields interested in organ transplantation: medical doctors, psychologists, philosophers, sociologists, cultural theorists, economists, lawyers, and representatives of other disciplines.
