Mission and Strategy of the Faculty of Materials Engineering 2021 - 2026

The Mission

The mission of the Faculty of Materials Engineering is to conduct innovative scientific research related to a wide range of materials engineering, dynamic development and systematic expansion of the scientific potential of the Faculty’s employees and cooperation with the socio-economic environment and enterprises from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region.

A very important element of the mission of the Faculty of Materials Engineering is the education of students in the field of materials engineering, technical and IT engineering, safety engineering and safety and health at work, and the continuous expansion of the educational offer; giving the knowledge and skills necessary to start a professional career.

The strategy of development

The development strategy of the Faculty of Materials Engineering is a continuation of the development strategy of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Technology, of which the Faculty was part and refers to the Development Strategy of the Kazimierz Wielki University for the years 2021-2026 (Revenous Resolution of the UKW Senate No. 44/2020/2021 of 29 June 2021).
