I am researcher and academic teacher at the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz (Poland). My scientific interests focus on issues related to the ecophysiology of microorganisms in aquatic ecosystems. They mainly concern the impact of environmental and anthropogenic factors on the structural and functional diversity of aquatic bacterial populations. They also cover problems in the field of clinical ecology, such as monitoring drug resistance of selected groups of microorganisms and assessing the risk of microbial agents in public places.
