The PI and Mentor both participated in a Laurence Sterne panel at the annual BSECS conference, with fellow Sterne experts Helen Williams and Peter Budrin. Jakub presented a paper on the circulation of Sterneana in early nineteenth-century Polish magazines; Mary spoke about conversation as play, in Sterne’s text, and in items of Sterneana published in British magazines.
