Research interests
My work focuses on the biology and ecology of molluscs; my particular interests include:
- variation, adaptation and contemporary evolution in populations of Cepaea snails
- life span, growth rates, habitat requirements, threats and conservation of unionid mussels
- distribution, population dynamics, and environmental impacts of the invasive Chinese pond mussel Sinanodonta woodiana.
