• Abstract: Cancer is a major problem in today’s world. Cancerous diseases belong to a group of civilization diseases, which are the object of interest of oncologists, public health specialists, educators, psychologists, social prevention specialists and others. This paper is an attempt to demonstrate the potential of axiological foundations of education included in health education and their importance to preventing cancer.
