dr Zając-Lamparska LudmiłaEnglish

Ludmila Zajac-Lamparska, PhD in Psychology, is an Associate Professor at Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz, Poland, a Chair in General and Human Development Psychology, and head of the Laboratory of Research on Cognitive Ageing.

She has published peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on aging from cognitive, neurocognitive, social, and personality perspectives. Her main areas of expertise are cognitive and neurocognitive aging, cognitive interventions for older adults (especially cognitive training and interventions using new technologies), compensatory brain activity in older adults, and successful aging. She is also involved in the issue of psychological and neuropsychological assessment of cognitive skills and diagnosis of neurodegenerative disorders.

She is the president of the Polish Association of Human Development Psychology (PSPRC) and a board member of the European Cognitive Aging Society (EUCAS).
